Fortenberry to Host Small Business Conference with UNL

and Nebraska Business Development Center

Lincoln, NE - Congressman Jeff Fortenberry, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the Nebraska Business Development Center will be hosting an informational conference for Nebraska small businesses on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the East Union on UNL’s East Campus in Lincoln. 

The conference focuses on helping Nebraska small businesses compete to obtain contracts with federal, state, and local government entities. Representatives from several federal and state agencies responsible for awarding contracts will provide information on various opportunities for small businesses to do business with the government.

Congressman Fortenberry serves on the House Small Business Committee and is ranking member of the Rural and Urban Entrepreneurship Subcommittee.
