U.S. CONGRESSMAN JOHN SHADEGG REPRESENTING THE 3RD DISTRICT OF ARIZONA

3rd District of Arizona

Arizona has 6.3 million people, with 3.9 million in metropolitan Phoenix; the city has been transformed from a frontier outpost to a diversified high-tech center, an example of how creativity and ingenuity can build a vibrant, sophisticated city with relatively minimalist government and low taxes.

From Camelback Mountain, 1800 feet above Phoenix and Paradise Valley, you can with equal awe get a sense of what this land was originally like and an understanding of how impressively Phoenix has grown.

The 3rd Congressional District of Arizona consists of much of central and north Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and the communities of Carefree, Cave Creek, and Anthem. The 3rd District is bounded approximately by Scottsdale Road on the east, Thomas Road in east Phoenix on the south, Bethany Home Road in central Phoenix on the south, 43rd Avenue on the west (67th Avenue on the west, north of Pinnacle Peak Road) and extends north to the Maricopa/Yavapai County line.
