"The President is once again choosing to play politics instead of dealing with the problems of the American people. For far too long, our wounded warriors and their families have been forced to fight another battle for the care they need to rebuild their lives. This bill would have made important investments in our national defense, including providing an across-the-board pay raise for all uniformed service personnel. The very least we owe our brave troops is decent pay when they serve their country and quality care when they return home. It's time the President signs this bill and finally listens to those of us fighting to provide our service members and veterans with the support they need."
