ARCURI TO HOST ANNUAL ACADEMY DAY

Information for High School Students Interested in Attending U.S. Service Academies
June 4, 2008

Washington, DC -- On Saturday, June 7th, U.S Representative Michael A. Arcuri (D-Utica) will host an information session for high school sophomores and juniors interested in applying to one of the five U.S. service academies.

Liaison officers representing each of the five U.S. service academies will be available to answer any questions students and parents may have about the application process, and to discuss campus life and the tradition of the academies.

“Service academies offer not only the opportunity to serve our great country, but also provide an outstanding education,” Arcuri said. “Academy Day is a valuable opportunity for local students to learn more about U.S. Service Academies and the application process by talking with representatives from the academies.”
