March of Dimes cookoff

My wife Suzanne and I participate in a March of Dimes fundraiser where we compete with other political couples in a cookoff. This year we cooked and served stuffed piquillo peppers, a traditional Basque dish. Idaho has a prominent Basque community.
Sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 piquillo peppers
4 cloves garlic, sliced thin
1 seven oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 cup dry white wine
