Vote on Reauthorization of the State Children's Health Insurance Program - VOTED YEA
On August 2, Senator Dorgan voted in favor of reauthorization of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). CHIP will help bring quality health care to an additional 4,700 children over the next five years in North Dakota whose families cannot currently afford health insurance. The Senate passed the bill by a vote of 68-31.
