Vote on Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 - VOTED YEA
On July 26, Senator Dorgan voted in favor of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007, H.R. 1 conference report, to fight the war on terror more effectively and improve homeland security. The Senate passed the bill by a vote of 85-8.

Vote on Dorgan Amendment to Bolster Security on the Northern Border - VOTED YEA
On July 26, Senator Dorgan voted in favor of his amendment offered with Senator Pete Domenici (R-NM) to bolster border security along the northern border and around the country. The provision was added to the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations bill, which was approved by the full Senate 89-4.

Vote on Dorgan Amendment to Double Bounty on Osama bin Laden - VOTED YEA
On July 13, Senator Dorgan voted in favor of his amendment, No. 2135, that he introduced along with Senator Conrad to double the reward for information leading to the capture or death of Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, and require classified reports to be made to Congress detailing efforts to apprehend the al Qaeda leadership. The legislation overwhelmingly passed the Senate by a vote of 87-1.

Vote on Wounded Warriors Act - VOTED YEA
On July 12, Senator Dorgan voted in favor of the Wounded Warriors Act, Amdt. No. 2019, that he cosponsored to end shortfalls in the care and treatment of wounded American soldiers. The legislation passed the Senate by a vote of 94-0.
