Flag Requests

We are pleased to assist constituents with having a flag flown over the United States Capitol. A special office of the Architect of the Capitol handles these requests. It takes a minimum of five to six weeks to be delivered after the flags are flown.  Each flag flown is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity stating the date it flew over the Capitol and who it was flown for.

To have a flag flown over the Capitol, please print out this page, fill it out and send in with a check for the appropriate amount. Because of additional screening processes for mail entering the United States Capitol, it is best to fax the form to my Capitol Hill office at 202-225-0017. You may mail the check to my District Office at 333 N. Fairfax St., Suite 201, Alexandria, VA 22314.
