2 Charged In Coventry In Marijuana Grow Operation

(Coventry, Conn./CBS Connecticut) - Police in Coventry bust up a suspected marijuana growing operation in town.
Officers with assistance from the East Central Narcotics Task Force and the DEA on Thursday executed a search warrant at a Berry Avenue home.
Ten pounds of pot with an estimated street value of $40,000 was seized.
In addition, packing material and smoking paraphernalia were also confiscated, along with 33 plants and nearly a dozen seedlings, electronic equipment and two cars.
Under arrest are 37-year-old Jason Blakesley and his 36-year-old girlfriend, Linda Dettore.
Both are facing a host of drug charges and being held on $150,000 bonds.
