There's a Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum coming in 2016
Long-time followers of Eye on Baseball know that we have an affinity for bobbleheads and so it's with great joy that I pass along that a real, actual Bobblehead Hall of Fame is on its way. Be still, my beating heart.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum will be coming to Milwaukee, Wis. in 2016. Here's an artist rendering of some of the plan:
"We are very excited to bring such a unique attraction to the great city of Milwaukee. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum will be a fun venue for collectors, fans and visitors to experience all things bobble-related," said Phil Sklar, the Hall of Fame and Museum's Co-Founder and CEO. "Milwaukee is such a unique city with a long sports history, making it a perfect location for collectors and fans around the world to gather for the ultimate bobblehead experience."
OK, and it's not just that. The Hall will also have a bar and grill with a bobblehead-themed menu. That's pretty awesome.
Birthday parties, weddings, autograph signings and other events are set to be available as well.
The location in Milwaukee for the Bobblehead Hall of Fame hasn't yet been finalized.

NOTE: Marlins Park has a bobblehead museum, too. But not a Hall of Fame.
