It only makes sense that a boutique called Moss would carry a lovely selection of natural fiber clothing. Tucked away on the corner of Westheimer and Dunlavy, Moss carries day-to-night clothing made from chemical-free organic cotton, 100-percent silk, silk and cotton blends, plus other protein fabrics. The women's boutique is keen on layering and most of the natural fabrics are perfect for that purpose.
It's not easy being fashionably green. Houstonians who bemoan the lack of stylish shopping spots with an earth-friendly, organic twist find plenty of choices at One Green Street. Dubbed an "Organic Lifestyle Destination" by owner Sherry Eichberger, the shop is for the whole person and while the racks are laden with goodies by Dyana Harrison, Threads for Thought and Stewart + Brown clothing, there's also apparel and body products for little greenies, housewares, truly healthy snacks, bedding, mattresses and an engaging collection of EcoSmart Fireplaces. One Green Street is also a monthly meeting place for people interested in eco-conscious topics.
