I'm curious how some of the commentators here would react had they witnessed American Colonists protesting an oppressive British regime acting with impunity and refusing to acknowledge colonists most basic freedoms.

I don't which is worse......the officer's Facebook post or the posts here. Sgt. Miller's comments were incredibly wrong and unbecoming a law enforcement officer. Sorry, but LEOs must be held to a higher standard because they are charged with upholding the law. For her to publicly post something like this on social media shows her immaturity and unfitness to be a LEO.

These ignorant sheep with nothing better to do could be protesting in better ways. The cop is entitled to her opinion. Many other people share the same opinion. Would I like to run them over? Yes. Would I actully do it? No. Would I tell them to their face Id like to run them over, yes. Would I say it public? I just did. That goes for any idiot blocking the road and protesting. I dont care what they are protesting. Sign a petition, start a petition, run a campaign to raise money, protest in front of a law enforcement agency or politicians office...anything thatbwill make a change, but get off the fucking road!!! While standing up for black people and other citizens rights, youre making them late for work, getting them fired, keeping them from their families, causing care workers to be unable to get to priority jobs and enabling people to be sick or not recieve urgent care. They are doing more damage than good. It's doing the opposite of what they are trying to accomplish. Everyone wants to jump on the band wagon and be a martyr or feel like they belong to something. Wrong way of doing it. I agree with the cause myself, but holy mother of god would I like to run these blind fools over too. Wake up sheeple, and use your brains before jumping in the water.

@meheecan-cris-doner You obviously missed her point.  She's encouraging people who wish to protest to do so.  She also supports the rights of individuals who do not share the same perspective, which is core to being an American.  She is making a rational point that blocking the roadways does more harm than benefit.  The protesters can be injured or killed, citizens who may or may not support the protest are having their rights to travel freely impeded, law enforcement are distracted, EMT's & Fire Professionals are prevented from saving lives, etc.. Blocking the roadways is stupid and she makes perfect sense.  It has nothing to do with being "pretty inside".  It has everything to do with a small group of individuals taking it on themselves to impact others.  Selfish behavior is not going to bring people to your side and in fact will make people want to "run down" idiots that think they can put their bodies up against a 5,000 lb vehicle.  Most, like Miss Amanda, are intelligent people with morals that would not go forward and do it.  What does not make sense is why you believe it is ok to make a personal attack from the keyboard of your computer.  Real brave.  Perhaps you should use your brain to think through both sides of the argument and then respectfully share your opinion without making unintelligent and derogatory comments to people you know nothing about.

I can see why police corruption would be an annoying subject for a guy like you.  It must be tough to hear stuff like this from the same honest, tax-paying, god-fearing, church-going American citizens who used to support you. It must be extra tough to know that the organization that you've devoted most of your life to is now a global pariah and a laughing stock for free citizens all around the world.
