Statement of Earthworks Executive Director Jennifer Krill

"With this week's all but certain passage of H.R. 2728: the Protecting States' Rights to Promote American Energy Security Act, H.R. 1965: The Federal Lands Jobs and Energy Security Act, and HR 1900: the Natural Gas Pipeline Permitting Reform Act, once again, the House of Representatives is voting in favor of corporate profits over the health of communities.

The oil and gas industry will celebrate Christmas early with these three generous gifts from Congress.

But for communities, Congress is the Grinch that's stealing our clean air, water and public lands."
