These testimonials represent a small part of the remarkable support (more than 93%) the EPA’s draft watershed assessment; we hope to protect the 14,000 jobs Bristol Bay provides by encouraging the EPA to use its authority to enact the Clean Water Act under the 404c process, which was designed for exactly the kinds of circumstances that Bristol Bay fishermen find themselves facing – their waters threatened with near-certain risk of acid mine runoff and heavy metal pollution.
