12-5-14: The Milwaukee Bucks have been hanging out in the middle of the standings in the first five weeks of the 2014/2015 campaign as the team has posted just a 9-7 record to start the new season. The Bucks started this week by packing their bags and heading out on the road to Detroit to face off with the Detroit Pistons. In the contest the Pistons and the Bucks played a closely contested matchup until one team took over in the fourth quarter. Milwaukee led the Pistons by the score of 53-45 at halftime before Detroit cut it to just a five point deficit entering the fourth quarter. The Bucks went off in the final frame putting up a 30 spot while holding the Pistons to just 19 points as Milwaukee went on to beat Detroit by the score of 104-88. The very next night the Bucks were back at it again this time back in Milwaukee playing host to the Houston Rockets at home. During the contest the Rockets big men dominated the board collecting 12 more rebounds which led to 13 more shooting opportunities for Houston. The Rockets, namely James Harden who led all scorers in the contest with 34 points, took full advantage of the extra opportunities as the team finished with a 51% shooting percentage in the game. The Bucks had no answer for Harden or the Rockets Trevor Ariza who had 10 rebounds in a 117-103 loss to Houston. Milwaukee was led by 19 points from Jabari Parker and 18 points from Ersan Ilyasova but it was not enough in the loss to the Rockets. The Bucks looked to turn things around and get back in the win column in their next game when the team traveled to Cleveland to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. During the contest these two teams traded big quarters and offensive outbursts as it seemed for much of the game that the team with the ball in their hand last would win the matchup. The trio of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and LeBron James scored 28, 27 and 26 points respectively as the Cavaliers finished shooting 53% from the field in the contest. Milwaukee matched Cleveland’s big three with big nights from Jabari Parker and Brandon Knight but the Bucks finished with just 49% shooting from the field. Even with a hot hand shooting from the field the Bucks still fell to the suddenly hot Cavaliers by the score of 111-108. The Bucks finished their week off by heading back home to Milwaukee to play host to the Dallas Mavericks from the Western Conference. During the contest Milwaukee jumped out all over Dallas early in the contest as the Bucks took a seven point lead at halftime before the Mavericks staged a comeback. Dallas held Milwaukee to just 14 points in the third quarter after surrendering a pair of 30 plus point quarters in the first half as the Mavericks took a two point lead late. Dallas, behind the scoring attack of Monta Ellis, went on to hold off the Bucks in the fourth quarter en route to a 107-105 victory over Milwaukee. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 10-10. 11-28-14: The Milwaukee Bucks have quietly had a strong start to the 2014/2015 campaign as the team has started the season with an impressive 7-5 record. The Bucks started this week by traveling to our neighbors from the north to take on the Toronto Raptors in an Eastern Conference road game. In the contest Louis Williams led the Raptors and all scorers in 22 points while Kyle Lowry added 20 points while the Raptors went on to rout the Bucks by the score of 124-82. The Bucks were led by 15 points from Jabari Parker but it was not enough in the loss for Milwaukee. The very next night the Bucks were back at home hosting the Washington Wizards in Milwaukee. In the game the Wizards offensive attack was led by Paul Pierce as the veteran had a 25 points and 10 rebound double-double as Marcin Gortat also added a double-double of his own for Washington. The Bucks countered with 27 points from Brandon Knight and 43% team shooting but it was not enough. Milwaukee ended up losing the contest to the Wizards by the final score of 111-100. The Bucks looked to get back into the win column in their next game as the team traveled back home to Milwaukee to host the Detroit Pistons. In the game Milwaukee was led by Brandon Knight’s 20 point outburst as one of five Bucks that scored in double digits in the contest. Meanwhile the Pistons were led by 23 points and 10 rebounds from Andre Drummond and 11 points and 10 rebounds from Josh Smith as Smith missed a triple-double by just two assists. The contest was decided on the boards as the Bucks out-rebounded the Pistons by 14 which led to more shooting opportunities in a 98-86 victory for Milwaukee. The Bucks finished out their schedule this week by traveling to Minnesota to take on a struggling Minnesota Timberwolves team on the road. During the contest the Wolves were led by 19 points from Corey Brewer while Andrew Wiggins added 14 points in a cold night of shooting for Minnesota. The Wolves managed just 38% shooting from the field and 21% from beyond the arc as Minnesota fell to the Bucks by the score of 103-86. Milwaukee had seven players that finished in double figures while the team shot 47% in the victory. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 9-7. 11-21-14: The Milwaukee Bucks had a decent start to their 2014/2015 season as the team started the campaign
with an even 4-4 record. The Bucks started this week by traveling to Orlando to take on the Orlando
Magic in a road contest. In the game Brandon Knight’s 24 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 19 points
were not enough as the Magic easily beat the Bucks by the score of 101-85. In the victory the Magic
were led by 26 points and 10 rebounds from Tobias Harris and the team’s 46% shooting percentage
from three point land. Two nights later the Bucks were back out on the road again this time taking on
the Miami Heat in South Beach. In the game Milwaukee was led by 20 points from Brandon Knight while
five other Bucks players scored in double digits in the contest. Meanwhile the Dwyane Wade-less Miami
Heat were led by 18 points from Mario Chalmers but it was not enough as the Bucks went on to beat the
Heat by the score of 91-84. Milwaukee was back at home in their next contest as the Bucks played host
to Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks. In the game the Knicks were led by the usual suspects of
Carmelo Anthony who scored 26 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. who finished with 24 points while the
team shot an impressive 55% from the field. The Bucks were that much better though in this contest
matching the Knicks 55% shooting percentage while also knocking down 53% of their three point
attempts. The Bucks leading scorer was Ersan Ilyasova who finished with 20 points in a 117-113 victory
for the Bucks. Milwaukee finished their week off in Brooklyn as the team played a big road game against
the Nets. Brooklyn enjoyed a breakout game from Brook Lopez as he led all scorers with 26 points while
five of his teammates scored in double figures in the contest. The Nets found themselves in the middle
of a shootout though when the Bucks matched the Nets with five of their own players scoring in double
figures. This game was well contested on both sides and it took three overtime periods to decide the
contest. In the end the Bucks were too much for the Nets in the third overtime as Milwaukee went on to
beat Brooklyn by the score of 122-118. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an

11-14-14: The Milwaukee Bucks did not have the best of starts to their 2014/2015 campaign as the team started the season with a 2-3 record. The Bucks started this week by traveling to Detroit to take on the Detroit Pistons on the road. In a relatively low scoring contest for both teams the Pistons were led by 18 points from Jabari Parker and 17 points from Brandon Knight as the only players for Detroit that would score in double digits in the game. Meanwhile the Bucks scoring attack was led by 19 points from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope but it wasn’t enough as the Pistons took down Milwaukee by the score of 98-95. The Bucks took the loss on the chin before heading back home to host the Memphis Grizzlies in their next contest. In the game the Bucks were led by 18 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo who played over 30:00 off the bench for Milwaukee. The Grizzlies kept things close on the free throw line as the team scored 31 points from the line but it wasn’t enough as the Grizzlies lost a close contest to the Bucks by the score of 93-92. The Bucks looked to keep their good fortunes going in their next contest as the team went home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the game OJ Mayo and Brandon Knight combined for 35 points for Milwaukee to lead the offensive attack in a relatively low scoring game for both teams. Reggie Jackson broke out for the Thunder in the contest to lead all scorers with 29 points but it was not enough as the guard lacked support from his team. The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Oklahoma City Thunder by the score of 85-78 in the contest. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 4-4. 11-7-14: The Milwaukee Bucks started their 2014/2015 season off last week by traveling to Charlotte to take on
Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets on the road. The Bucks ultimately fell to Charlotte in their first game
back as the Hornets as Milwaukee dropped their record to 0-1 on the season. With the 2014/2015
season entering its first full week the Bucks hosted the Philadelphia 76ers in their first home game of the
season. Philadelphia’s defense had no answer for O.J. Mayo on the night as the Bucks went on to win
the game by the score of 93-81. The very next night the Bucks were in Washington taking on the
Washington Wizards on the road in a high scoring affair for both teams. Nene led all Washington scorers
with 22 points in the contest while Marcin Gortat and Otto Porter chipped in double digit scoring nights
for the Wizards. The Bucks scoring attack was led by Brandon Knight’s 24 points but it was not enough
as the Bucks ultimately fell to the Wizards by the score of 108-97. Milwaukee had a couple nights off to
lick their wounds before traveling to Indiana to take on the Indiana Pacers on the road. In the game
Indiana was cold both from the field and from the free throw line as the Pacers shot just 40% from the
field and 59% from the stripe. Chris Copeland’s 19 points was not enough for the Pacers as Indiana fell
to Milwaukee by the score of 87-81. The Bucks shot just 45% from the field in the contest but shot 86%
from the free throw line to win the contest behind 23 points from Brandon Knight. Milwaukee finished
their week by hosting the Chicago Bulls in Milwaukee. In the contest Taj Gibson led the way for Chicago
with 23 points while Pau Gasol got 14 rebounds in a 95-86 victory for the Bulls. The Bucks had a cold
night shooting from the field as a team as Milwaukee only mustered a 37.1% shooting percentage on
the night. Milwaukee’s offensive attack was led by 13 points by Giannis Antetokounmpo in the loss.

10-31-14: The Milwaukee Bucks tipped off the 2014-2015 season by facing off with the Charlotte Hornets on the road after a less than impressive 3-4 preseason record. The Bucks have a new head coach in Jason Kidd, formerly of the Brooklyn Nets, but were unable to work out an extension with Brandon Knight before the 10/31 deadline. Knight now seems destined to hit free agency in the summer before the 2015/2016 season. The Bucks have decided to go with a young team; something Coach Kidd admits is a new challenge after coaching the veteran Nets last season, heading into the 2014/2015 season. The Bucks started the season by facing off with the Charlotte Hornets on the road and Knight made Milwaukee look foolish for not reaching a contract extension. Knight was two rebounds shy of a triple-double as he finished with 22 points, 13 assists, and 8 rebounds. Knight’s efforts were not enough as the Bucks went on to fall to the Hornets by the score of 108-106 behind 26 points for the Hornets Kemba Walker. Milwaukee’s young team showed a lot of character for the first three quarters before the Hornets took over in the fourth quarter that ultimately led to the Bucks first loss of the season. 10-29-14: Under new head coach Jason Kidd, the Bucks will look to improve on their 15-win record from just a season ago. The team also drafted first-round pick Jabari Parker, who has allowed ticket prices to increase significantly at BMO Harris Bradley Center. The average price for Bucks tickets at home this season is $104.88 on the secondary market, 109.7% higher than last season’s average of $50. A March 22 visit from the Cavs serves as the most expensive game at home, with the average secondary price currently at $285.81 and a get-in price of $38.
10-24-14: The Milwaukee Bucks owned the worst record in the NBA at 15-67 last season, but they’ll hope new head coach Jason Kidd can inject some much-needed spirit into the team. Duke superstar Jabari Parker is already slated to win Rookie of the Year honors if he can stay healthy and productive while O.J. Mayo will look to improve on his game as the team’s starting shooting guard.
10-15-14: The Milwaukee Bucks kicked off their preseason schedule on Oct 8 with an 86-83 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Since, the Bucks have dropped three straight to Detroit, Chicago, and 106-100 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in their last outing. The Bucks will look to rebound this Friday when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at the U.S. Cellular Center with two remaining preseason games with the Knicks and another meeting with the Timberwolves before opening up the regular season on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Oct 29.
10-8-14: The Milwaukee Bucks kicks off their preseason tonight as they get set to play the Memphis Grizzlies. Milwaukee will then travel to Detroit the next day to play the Pistons, followed by an October 11th meeting with the Chicago Bulls. Other opponents on the Buck preseason schedule include matchups with the Cavaliers, Timberwolves, Knicks, and conclude their preseason against the Timberwolves at the Bradley Center on October 22. There was nothing good about the Bucks 2013-14 season expect that its now over and can look forward to having Jason Kidd as their new head coach who has a lot promise on his roster but many questions to be answered.
9-22-14: For player and Nets head coach Jason Kidd is now the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks after Brooklyn shipped him there over the summer. Now he has to manage a team which like last years Bucks team is an odd mix of veterans and young players. This years team includes Brandon Knight, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Larry Sanders, and the number 2 overall pick Jabari Parker. These guys will play with the likes of Zaza Pachulia, Jared Dudley, Ersan Ilyasova, and OJ Mayo. With all of these assets for a rebuilding team coach Kidd has a lot to work with and expect GM John Hammond to be active this season.
8-13-14: The Milwaukee Buck made some headlines this offseason by picking up Jabari Parker as the second overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Parker is arguably the best offensive player in the draft with the ability to make an immediate impact in the league. They also acquired Jason Kidd as their new head coach in exchange of two draft picks to the Brooklyn Nets in controversial trade as Kidd bolted Brooklyn after being told he would not have personnel power. Kidd has a relationship with Milwaukee’s current ownership and he’s coming off a solid season with the Nets making the playoffs after a horrendous start.

4-7-14: The losses keep on coming for the Bucks, who are on pace to have the best chance at the first overall pick in the draft. Milwaukee played the Miami Heat twice this past week, and those games were very difficult for the Bucks. On Saturday, O.J. Mayo sat out when Milwaukee hosted the Heat. The Bucks only mustered 67 points in the 21-point loss. Then, they were handed their 60th loss of the season as the Pistons beat Milwaukee by five points in Detroit. The Bucks traveled to Miami for Wednesday’s game against the Heat. Ramon Sessions scored a game-high 19 points, but the Bucks lost, 96-77.
4-1-14: Bucks fans seem to be ready for the offseason and the draft, but Milwaukee keeps fighting hard. The Bucks scored at least 98 points in each of their three games this past week and won one of the contests. Although Milwaukee was swept in the road back-to-back set, the Bucks bounced back to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. Brandon Knight scored a game-high 30 points in that game as the Bucks won, 108-105. Earlier in the week, they fell by 17 points to Sacramento Kings on Sunday and then lost to the Los Angeles Clippers by eight points on Monday.
3-24-14: It was a frustrating week as the Bucks continued on their pace to the worst record in the league this season. With four losses this past week, Milwaukee pushed its losing streak to six games. On Saturday and Sunday, the Bucks played a back-to-back set. In the first contest, the New York Knicks won, 115-94. Then, Brandon Knight scored a game-high 21 points on Sunday, but that performance was in a 101-92 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats. The Bucks then dropped games in Portland and in Golden State. Unfortunately, the Bucks also found out that Larry Sanders will officially miss the remainder of the season.
3-17-14: The Bucks had a hectic week, as they played five games in seven days. Ersan Ilyasova served his one-game suspension on Friday in New Orleans, and Milwaukee lost, 112-104, to the Pelicans. Unfortunately, the bad news did not end there. O.J. Mayo was ejected during that contest for striking Greg Stiemsma in the throat. Mayo missed Saturday’s game against the Washington Wizards, and the Bucks lost by seven points. However, the Bucks bounced back to beat the Orlando Magic on Monday behind a big night from Khris Middleton. Milwaukee then started its three-game road trip with losses in Minnesota and Atlanta.
3-10-14: The Bucks stayed home for this past week as they put up a 1-2 record. On Saturday, they hosted the Brooklyn Nets. Although Milwaukee fell by nine points that night, Ersan Ilyasova helped the Bucks bounce back on Monday. He scored a season-high 31 points in the Bucks’ 114-88 victory over the Utah Jazz. Zaza Pachulia also dished off five assists for just the third time this season. Unfortunately, the Bucks could not put together two wins in a row. On Wednesday, Brandon Knight scored a game-high 25 points along with six assists and five rebounds, but Milwaukee lost by 14 points.
3-3-14: The Bucks had an interesting week with regard to their opponents. They faced the Eastern Conference-best Indiana Pacers twice and the Atlantic Division-worse Philadelphia 76ers once. As expected, the Bucks lost both contests to the Pacers, but only by a combined 15 points. Even with Caron Butler out due to an ankle injury, Milwaukee scored 130 points on Monday in Philadelphia. It was the first time in more than a decade that the Bucks scored that many points in a road contest. O.J. Mayo was on fire that evening as he scored a team-high 25 points on 7-of-9 shooting from 3-point distance.
2-24-14: Giannis Antetokounmpo was the Bucks’ lone participant during All-Star weekend. He took part in both the Rising Stars Challenge and the skills challenge. He came off the bench to score nine points on perfect shooting from the field on Friday and then teamed up with DeMar DeRozan the following night. After the All-Star game, Milwaukee continued its lengthy homestand. The Bucks hosted the Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets this past week. Caron Butler scored a game-high 21 points en route to the four-point victory over the Magic on Tuesday. Butler moved into the starting lineup for Thursday’s contest, and the Bucks lost to the Nuggets by double digits. Milwaukee also traded Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour to the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for Ramon Sessions and Jeff Adrian.
2-18-14: Although the Bucks were able to stop their long losing streak with a win early in February, they have not won since. They played each of their three contests at home this past week, but fell to the Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans. Although the Bucks were not victorious, there is one man who played well. Brandon Knight put together three consecutive games of at least 22 points for the first time in his career. However, the good news ended there as Larry Sanders underwent eye surgery and is now out at least six weeks.
2-10-14: I continue to be surprised that the Bucks have enough players for each of their games. Even with all of their injuries, they were able to handle their roster much than the Los Angeles Lakers did with theirs. Although Milwaukee only had one win this past week, the team did have a road-heavy schedule. The Bucks lost in Orlando, Memphis and Denver. However, they were victorious in their only home game. John Henson, O.J. Mayo and Ekpe Udoh were all out, but Brandon Knight was not. His 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds to go helped the Bucks defeat the Knicks on Monday.
2-4-14: The Bucks have not only been plagued by injuries this season, but they now are being affected by the flu. As a result, they had another winless week. After losing Ekpe Udoh to an ankle sprain and dropping their Friday evening game to the Cavaliers in Cleveland, the Bucks returned home for a three-game homestand. Brandon Knight scored a game-high 27 points on Saturday, but the Atlanta Hawks blew out Milwaukee. Then on Monday, the Bucks were without O.J. Mayo and Larry Sanders due to illness. Without two of their best players, Larry Drew’s team became just the third one this season to lose consecutive games by at least 25 points. Larry Sanders returned two days later with 14 points and nine rebounds in the Bucks’ nine-point loss to the Phoenix Suns.
1-27-14: After returning home from their quick road trip to Texas, the Bucks finally got their first victory of 2014. They were the final NBA team to win a game this January, and it took them 10 tries. It was impressive that Milwaukee beat the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday because the Bucks won without Larry Sanders and O.J. Mayo, who were both out due to illness. Wednesday was Caron Butler bobblehead night, and he did not disappoint. Butler scored 30 points, which is his highest-scoring performance in an NBA game when coming off the bench. He will need to continue this success for the Bucks to get a few more wins.
1-20-14: It has been one ugly January for the Bucks, as they have begun the New Year by losing their first seven games of the month. They have not won since December 31 at the Staples Center. On the bright side, five of the Bucks’ losses during this most recent losing streak were against Western Conference opponents. In Milwaukee’s game on Monday in Toronto, it was Ersan Ilyasova’s night to shine. Although the Bucks lost by 22 points, the Turkish big man went off for a season-high 29 points as he shot 11-of-16 from the field.
1-7-14: The lottery-bound Bucks are searching for the players who will contribute to the roster in future years. However, one of those players is out for at least a few games. After the Bucks lost by 11 points to the Nets, John Henson had an MRI on his left ankle. He was one of Milwaukee’s bright spots before going down with the injury. The Bucks then lost by 22 points in Minnesota on Saturday, but Khris Middleton filled the stat sheet: 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Brandon Knight then exploded for a career-high 37 points in a 94-79 win over the Lakers at the Staples Center on Tuesday. Although the Bucks lost on Thursday at Utah, they still have more road wins this season than they do at home.
12-30-13: It sure has been an ugly season for a Bucks team that has been ravaged by injuries. With Milwaukee’s loss on Friday in Cleveland, Larry Drew’s squad suffered back-to-back overtime losses. The Bucks then traveled home and finally ended their five-game losing streak with a double-digit victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Khris Middleton, Caron Butler and Brandon Knight all topped 20 points in the win. Then on Monday in Charlotte, the Bucks lost yet another overtime game to push their record to 1-5 when playing more than 48 minutes. However, Brandon Knight did score 26 points and dish out 14 assists that night.
12-22-13: Over the last week, there were a couple of new injuries suffered by the already depleted 2013-14 Bucks. Ersan Ilyasova and Gary Neal both went down recently, and Milwaukee has been stuck on five wins for over a week. First, the Chicago Bulls avenged their loss from earlier in the week by defeating the Bucks by one point in Milwaukee on Friday. Larry Drew’s squad then traveled to Dallas to take on the Mavericks the next night and dropped that contest by 13 points. Then, although the Bucks received extended rest, they fell to the New York Knicks in overtime on Wednesday. Milwaukee is most likely a lottery team, but young players like Brandon Knight, John Henson and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be able to help usher in a new Bucks era.
12-13-13: Injuries to Larry Sanders, Caron Butler and Zaza Pachulia have severely hurt the Bucks rotation, but they still had two victories in the last week. Impressively, both of them were on the road. Led by Khris Middleton’s career-high 29 points, Milwaukee beat the Washington Wizards in overtime on Friday. After losing to the Brooklyn Nets, the Bucks then defeated the Chicago Bulls. John Henson scored a season-high 25 points in that contest. Milwaukee finished the week with a 32-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs, but the Bucks still have two wins in the month of December after having just three in November.
12-6-13: It has not been easy for new head coach Larry Drew in Milwaukee. On Friday, the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Bucks by 16 points to give them their 11th consecutive loss. That was their longest losing streak since 1996. However, O.J. Mayo led all scorers with 22 points on Saturday, and the Bucks got an important win over the Boston Celtics. John Henson also contributed his first double-double of the season. It was nice for the Bucks to taste victory, but they then lost each of their next two games. Milwaukee will struggle to put together many wins this season, but the team does have a strong nucleus of players that can help the Bucks in future years.
11-28-13: The Milwaukee Bucks have lost ten straight games, but a slow return to health for some of their core players is allowing them to stay competitive. Two of the last four games went to over time before the Bucks ran out of steam. The 2-12 Bucks have the second worst record in the league so far, but Brandon Knight, Ersan Ilyasova and Zaza Pachulia are all back in the starting lineup, allowing a solid rotation to finally form – and allowing rookies Nate Wolters and Giannis Antetokounmpo to develop at a more reasonable pace, on the bench.
11-22-13: The winter malaise has already begun in Milwaukee as the once promising 2-2 start has turned into a six-game losing streak for the Bucks. The closest game during the losing streak was a three-point loss to the equally bad Orlando Magic. Ersan Ilyasova, Brandon Knight and LARRY SANDERS! have all missed significant time and the Bucks have regularly had to patch together lineups featuring the likes of Nate Wolters, Khris Middleton and Ekpe Udoh. Fun! At 2-8 on the year, there is little hope in Milwaukee until the young guns can get healthy.
11-15-13: The Bucks continue to be without Luke Ridnour and just when they got Brandon Knight back into the rotation, they lost Caron Butler to a shoulder injury. The lack of healthy bodies hasn’t allowed Milwaukee to play at their highest level, as they’ve three straight games in week three to sit at just 2-5 on the year.
11-8-13: Rookie point guard Nate Wolters has been thrust into major action in the early going of the 2013 season, thanks to injuries to Brandon Knight and Luke Ridnour. Thanks to a balanced game and poise on the court, he’s helped the Bucks avoid a huge hole early. Milwaukee is a decent 2-2 through four games, while they’ve been in every game so far and could easily be 4-0. Relying on defense and team play on offense, the Bucks could continue to surprise once at full health.
11-1-13: New head coach Larry Drew hopes that the Bucks’ 1-5 preseason record is not a sign of things to come. The organization added Brandon Knight, O.J. Mayo and Caron Butler in the offseason to bolster the team’s offense. During the preseason, they picked up both the fourth-year contract option on Knight and third-year option on John Henson. Henson had a productive preseason as he scored 10 points per game and shot better than 55 percent from the field. He is ready for a season in which the Bucks are looking for their second consecutive playoff appearance.
10-18-13: The Milwaukee has fallen on hard times this preseason going 0-4 so far. Caron Butler and Brandon Knight have been bright spots for this Bucks team so far this season as they has been leading Milwaukee in scoring going for double digits in the last two games. 8-29-13: The Bucks have agreed to a deal that will send Ish Smith and Slava Kravtsov to the Phoenix Suns for Caron Butler. The 33-year-old Bulter, will make $8 million this season on an expiring contract.
8-23-13: In another roster-turning offseason, the Bucks continue to revamp and retool as they try to find the magic mixture of success. Out are Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis and J.J. Redick. In are Brandon Knight, O.J. Mayo and the Greek wonder child that is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Say that three times fast. Milwaukee will look to build around Larry Sanders and John Henson up front, and hope that Brandon Knight rediscovers his mojo in a new environment.
Brandon Jennings and his new Detroit Pistons squad will visit Milwaukee for the first time on Wednesday, December 4th. The defending champion Miami Heat will come to town just once this season, on Saturday March 29th. The Chicago Bulls will make the trek north on Friday, December 13th and again on Friday, January 10th. Lob City will visit Milwaukee on Monday, January 27th.

8-21-13: The Bucks have signed Larry Sanders to a 4-year contract extension worth $44 million. With incentives/bonuses, Sanders could make close to $48 million.

7-31-13: The Bucks have sent Brandon Jennings to the Pistons in a sign-and-trade deal. In return, Milwaukee will get Brandon Knight, Slava Kravtsov and Khris Middleton. Jennings is now set to make $24 million over the next three years.
7-27-13: The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free agent Gary Neal to a two-year, $7.0 million deal.
7-11-13: Jeff Teague has signed a 4-year, $32 million contract offer sheet with the Bucks.

6-12-13: The Bucks have an interesting offseason to say the least. With their two best players; Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings both headed for free agency, the organization will have to decide on which guard they would like to keep. The Bucks made the playoffs as an eighth seed mainly due to a weak conference and were swept by the Miami Heat. Milwaukee will select 15th in this year’s draft. It would be wise if they leaned toward replacing one of their guards who will likely sign elsewhere. Next season the Bucks will have a new head coach in Larry Drew, formerly the head man of the Atlanta Hawks.
2-27-13: The Milwaukee Bucks are 28-28 as an 8th seed in the East. One of the only deals that took place prior to the trading deadline was the Bucks acquiring sharp-shooter JJ Reddick form the Orlando Magic. The Bucks have a 14-14 record both at home and on the road. Look for them to improve their play at home if they want to make the playoffs and advance. The Bucks have won two in a row and their next two opponents will be the Raptors and Jazz. Monta Ellis hit a wild game winning three pointer against the rockets to give his team a 110-107 victory in Houston. Reddick has fit in nicely so far averaging 14 points per game in the three games since he was dealt to the Bucks.
11-26-12 : Currently the Bucks sit atop what is probably the weakest division in the league. With a mediocre 6-5 record the Bucks let what could have been a huge win slip away from them in Miami. No team should look past this group that possesses an extremely explosive back court in Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis. The Bucks score around 100 points per game but give up just as many also. The Bucks are a playoff team but most likely a first round exit.
