12-5-14: The Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the better teams in the Western Conference in the first five weeks of the 2014/2015 campaign as the team has started the season posting an impressive 9-5 record. The Clippers started this week by traveling to the great state of Texas to take on the Houston Rockets in a road contest. During the contest the Rockets lost yet another player in Isaiah Canaan who was the team’s leading scorer when a sprained left ankle injury forced him to leave in the second quarter. Houston had an eight point lead after one quarter but the Clippers quickly came back and took over the contest after the Canaan injury. The Rockets seemed demoralized as the team did not score for the first seven minutes after the injury as Houston fell to Los Angeles by the score of 102-85. The very next night the Clippers were back at it again this time in Utah taking on the Utah jazz in a Western Conference road game. During the contest Gordon Hayward from Utah and Blake Griffin from Los Angeles put on a clinic as the two forwards traded bucket for bucket for most of the night. The Clippers rode a great first quarter scoring 35 points and strolled through the rest of the game in an easy victory for Los Angeles. Hayward finished with 30 points for the Jazz leading all scorers in the contest but it was not enough as the Clippers beat the Jazz by the score of 112-96. The Clippers were back at it again on Monday when the team traveled back to Staples Center to play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves at home. During the contest the Clippers enjoyed an offensive explosion as the team eclipsed the 30 point mark in three of the four quarters in the contest. Los Angeles finished the contest shooting 51% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc but the team especially made their strides at the free throw line. The Clippers knocked down 30-36 free throw attempts which were good for 83% shooting. The Clippers took down the Wolves by the score of 127-101 despite 18 points from Minnesota’s Shabazz Muhammad. The Clippers finished their week back at the Staples Center as the team played host to the Orlando Magic. During the contest the Clippers dominated much of the contest as the team finished with a better shooting percentage, more rebounds and assists, a better free throw percentage and a better three point shooting night. The Magic had no answer for Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan as the Clippers easily took care of Orlando by the score of 114-86. Tobias Harris led all Magic players with 16 points but it was not nearly enough in the loss to the Clippers. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 13-5. 11-28-14: The Los Angeles Clippers began to turn their 2014/2015 season around in the past few weeks improving their overall record to an impressive 7-4 in the new campaign. The Clippers started this week by traveling to Memphis to take on a tough Memphis Grizzlies team. In the game Marc Gasol added 30 more points and 12 rebounds while the Grizzlies as a whole shot 49% from the field in the contest. The Clippers were led by 22 points from Chris Paul in the contest but the Los Angeles guard had little help from his team in the game. The Clippers as a team shot just 42% from the field in the contest as the Memphis Grizzlies won again by the score of 107-91. The Clippers were back out on the road in their next contest this time in Charlotte taking on the Charlotte Hornets. In the contest Charlotte shot a miniscule 10% from three point land and wasn’t much better overall as the team finished with a 41% shooting percentage as a team. Charlotte was led by 17 points from Cody Zeller and 16 points from Al Jefferson but it wasn’t enough in a 113-92 loss to the Clippers. Los Angeles was led by 22 points each from the duo of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in the victory for the Clippers. Los Angeles finished their schedule off this week in Detroit playing in a road game against the Detroit Pistons. During the game Detroit’s DJ Augustin led the Pistons with 19 points as one of five players to score in double digits in the contest. Meanwhile the Clippers duo of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul were tough to stop scoring a combined 38 points in the contest. The Clippers also enjoyed 25 points from Jamal Crawford as Los Angeles went on to beat the Pistons by the score of 104-98. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 9-5. 11-21-14: The Los Angeles Clippers expectations were high entering the 2014/2015 season so when the team
started the campaign off with a 4-3 record there was some disappointment around the team. The
Clippers started this week by traveling back home to Staples Center to host the Phoenix Suns in Los
Angeles. In the contest Chris Paul broke out for the Clippers with 32 points while five other players
scored in double digits as the team shot 53% from the field on the night. Los Angeles also shot 48% from
beyond the three point line as Phoenix had a rough night shooting from the field. Phoenix managed just
38% shooting from the field and 37% from three point land as the Suns fell to the Clippers by the score
of 120-107. Phoenix was led by 26 points from Gerald Green but it was not enough as only three other
Suns players scored in double digits in the loss. In the Clippers next game the team was hosting their
fourth consecutive home game at Staples Center when the team welcomed the Chicago Bulls to town. In
the contest the Clippers Jamal Crawford led all scorers with 24 points while DeAndre Jordan and Blake
Griffin pitched in with a double-double each for Los Angeles. The Bulls were too much though behind 22
points from Jimmy Butler and big nights from Taj Gibson and Mike Dunleavy. Chicago went on to beat
the Clippers in this contest by the score of 105-89. In the Clippers next contest the team was out on the
road for the first time in over a week to take on the Orlando Magic. The Magic finished their week off by
welcoming Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers to Orlando in a home game. In the contest the
home team Magic were led by 25 points from Tobias Harris while Nikola Vucevic added 19 points and 14
rebounds for Orlando. The Clippers Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford combined for 42 points while Los
Angeles went on to easily beat the Magic by the score of 114-90. To finish the week the Clippers were
back out on the road to play the Miami Heat down in South Beach. In the contest Chris Bosh tried to pick
up the scoring slack for the Heat scoring 28 points but the team could not overcome a rough first half
shooting. The Heat managed just 15 points in the first quarter and 40 points by halftime in a 110-93 loss
to the Clippers. Los Angeles was led by 26 points each from Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in the victory for
the Clippers. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 7-4. Get

11-14-14: The Los Angeles Clippers start to the 2014/2015 campaign would have been acceptable if it were not for the expectations surround this Blake Griffin and Chris Paul led team. The team started the season with an even 2-2 record in their first full week of the year. The Clippers started this week by hosting the Portland Trail Blazers at home in Staples Center. In the contest the Trail Blazers Damian Lillard, LeMarcus Aldridge, and Robin Lopez did the bulk of the scoring for Portland combing for 65 of the team’s 102 points on the night. The Clippers JJ Redick led all scorers with 30 points while Blake Griffin added 23 points and Chris Paul added 22 points as Los Angeles edges the Trail Blazers by the score of 106-102. The Clippers looked to keep their momentum going as they headed to south Texas to take on the San Antonio Spurs on the road. In the contest Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 26 points while the trio of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli combined for 41 points. The Clippers were led by 23 points from Blake Griffin but the team fell in the contest due to cold shooting from the rest of the team including Chris Paul. The Spurs would go on to beat the Clippers by the score of 89-85 in this contest. When the week was all said and done the team finished with an overall record of 4-3. 11-7-14: The Los Angeles Clippers started their 2014/2015 season off last week by hosting the Oklahoma City
Thunder minus Kevin Durant at home in a 93-90 victory. With the 2014/2015 season entering its first full
week the Clippers traveled to Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on the road. The Lakers
were without Steve Nash and Julius Randle in the contest and had nobody to defend Blake Griffin as he
dropped 39 points in the contest. Jordan Hill scored 23 points for the Lakers while Kobe Bryant added 21
points in a loss to the Clippers by the score of 118-111. The Clippers then headed home to host the
Sacramento Kings looking to keep their winning streak alive. In the contest Blake Griffin was held to just
17 points while Chris Paul could only muster 16 points on the night. Sacramento shot 50% from the field
in the contest behind 34 points from DeMarcus Cousins and 25 points from Rudy Gay in a 98-92 victory
for the Kings handing the Clippers their first loss of the season. The Clippers stayed home to lick their
wounds after their first loss and to host the Utah Jazz at home. In the contest the Clippers Blake Griffin
had his way with the Jazz defense as the forward put up 31 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 107-
101 victory for the Clippers. Gordon Hayward did all he could in the contest as he scored 27 points
while Enes Kanter added 17 in the tough loss for Utah. The Clippers ended their week back out on the
road when they traveled to Golden State to take on the Warriors. In the contest Draymond Green and
Stephen Curry combined for 52 points in the contest as the Clippers had no answer for the duo on
defense. Jamal Crawford scored 24 points for the Clippers but Chris Paul and Blake Griffin were held to
just 29 points combined as the Clippers fell to the Golden State Warriors by the score of 121-104. When

10-31-14: The Los Angeles Clippers tipped off the 2014-2015 season by facing off with the Oklahoma City Thunder as the team looks to head back to the playoffs. The Clippers had a surprisingly tough preseason posting a 2-6 record in their first season after Donald Sterling sold the team. Steve Balmer is the new Clippers owner after spending $2 billion this summer to buy the Clippers from Sterling after racist remarks were released to the press from Sterling. The Clippers players now have a breath of fresh air playing under Balmer and President of Basketball Operations Doc Rivers. The Clippers took that fresh air with them as the team hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder at home to tip off the new NBA season. Blake Griffin led the scoring attack for the Clippers with 23 points while Chris Paul added 22 points as the Clippers went on to edge the Thunder by the score of 93-90 to get their first victory of the season. The Thunder were still without the injured Kevin Durant as his fracture in his foot continues to keep him off the court but this was still a statement win for Los Angeles. 10-29-14: Long the overlooked team in Los Angeles. the Clippers are in the midst of a breakout. After finishing in first place in the Pacific division last season, the team is considered a title contender and has already taken over the title of best current NBA team to play at Staples Center. The average price for Clippers tickets at home this season is $190.96, up 15.4% from last year’s season average. Two Clippers games currently have an average price above $300, a January 16 meeting with the Cavaliers and a January 7 game against the Lakers.
10-24-14: The Houston Rockets won 54 games last season under superstars James Harden and Dwight Howard, but also found support from Trevor Ariza and point guard Patrick Beverley. They would ultimately fall to the Trail Blazers in the First Round of the playoffs, but have started out strong in the preseason this year. They own a 5-2 record through seven postseason games.
10-15-14: The Los Angeles Clippers have played three of their eight scheduled preseason games so far, all resulting in losses as the Clippers are coming off a 102-89 defeat at the hands of the Utah Jazz on Oct 13. Next on the LA Clippers preseason schedule is another meeting with the Utah Jazz this Friday at the Staples Center, followed by four more preseason games to go with meetings against Denver, Golden State, Phoenix, and Portland before the Clippers open their regular season at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Oct 30.
10-8-14: The Los Angeles Clippers began their preseason last night with a loss to the Golden State Warriors at the Staples Center. The Clippers will next be in actions this Sunday as they face the Portland Trailblazers, followed by back to back meetings with the Utah Jazz on October 13 and 17 respectively, with remaining preseason games against the Nuggets, Warriors, Suns, and Trailblazers to finish off their preseason schedule. The Clippers have been winning a lot of regular season games the past couple of seasons but has not resulted in many postseason wins as they look to make a major push in the Western Conference by beating the two elite teams there, the Spurs and Thunder.
9-22-14: The Los Angeles Clippers led by Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and coach Doc Rivers are looking to make their first conference final this season. With help needed in their front court they signed free agent Spencer Hawes who previously played last season for the 76ers and Cavaliers where he averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds. Looking to be the first big man off the bench behind and Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, Hawes could be the difference maker this team needs to get them to the conference finals and beyond.
8-13-14: The Los Angeles Clippers offseason has been unpredictable and full of drama but now the team finally has new ownership as former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is now the new owner. Head Coach Doc Rivers was able to add two key players in Spencer Hawes and Jordan Farmar while also adding C.J. Wilcox from the draft, retaining the services of Jamal Crawford.

5-19-14: Although the Clippers won a franchise-best 57 games during the 2013-14 regular season, the team had yet another relatively early exit in the playoffs. No Clippers team has ever reached the conference finals. Unfortunately, the NBA’s problems with the Sterling family might deter the current players and coaches from staying with the team in the future. Darren Collison helped the Clippers even the series, but Los Angeles dropped Game 5 and Game 6. Chris Paul does not have the best history in the playoffs, but if he is with the Clippers for the 2014-15 season, he will look to lead his team to the conference finals.
5-12-14: The Andrew Bogut-less Golden State Warriors forced the Clippers to a Game 7, but the Clippers won, 126-121. Chris Paul’s 22 points, four steals and game-high 14 assists led the way for Los Angeles. DeAndre Jordan chipped in 15 points on perfect shooting from the field and brought down a game-high 18 rebounds. The Clippers continued their momentum into Game 1 of their second-round series with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Paul put up 32 points to help the Clippers get the first game, but Serge Ibaka has stifled Blake Griffin. It will be difficult for Los Angeles to win this series if Griffin is not playing at his best.
5-5-14: Doc Rivers’ squad sure had a hectic week off the court. Between Games 3 and 4, audio was released that included Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist remarks. In response, Clippers players sported black wristbands and wore their pregame shirts inside out to hide their logo. The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Clippers, 118-97, to even the series at two games apiece. However, Los Angeles bounced back on Tuesday, the day that Adam Silver banned Sterling for life. DeAndre Jordan put up game-highs in points and rebounds en route to the Clippers’ 113-103 home victory in Game 5. Jamal Crawford, who reportedly won the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award, scored 19 points in Game 6, but the Clippers could not close out the series that night.
4-28-14: Game 1 was frustrating for the Clippers. Blake Griffin was in foul trouble and played just 19 minutes, but he sure bounced back in Games 2 and 3. After scoring only 16 points in the first game of the series, he has averaged 34 points per game since. Los Angeles dropped Game 1, 109-105, but proceeded to destroy the Golden State Warriors in Game 2. Behind Griffin’s game-high 35 points on Monday, the Clippers won, 138-98. Then, DeAndre Jordan shined in Game 3. He grabbed 22 rebounds, the most for any player in a playoff contest since Dwight Howard in 2009. Jordan helped the Clippers snap their five-game playoff road losing streak with the 98-96 win.
4-21-14: Just one year after the Clippers won a franchise-best 56 games, Los Angeles made it to 57 victories this past season. In Doc Rivers’ first year with the Clippers, he gave DeAndre Jordan the confidence he needed to succeed. Jordan’s 75 rebounds in April were by far a team-high as he was the game-high player in boards four times in the month. He finished with the most rebounds by any player in the 2013-14 season. In addition, his effective field-goal percentage was the best in the NBA. He will be looking to help Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in what hopes to be a long playoff run.
4-16-14: Los Angeles Clippers playoff tickets average $220 on the secondary market, which is 3rd in the western conference and 6th overall. The regular season average was $118, meaning there is a 72% premium for the playoffs. The Clippers are currently the 3rd seed in the west, and are set to face the Warriors in the opening round.
4-7-14: The Clippers finished their difficult five-game road trip on a very good note. This past week, they played in Houston, Minnesota and Phoenix and left each of those cities with victories. Although Los Angeles dropped Thursday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks, that game was on the second night of a back-to-back set. On Saturday, Chris Paul scored 30 points and dished off a game-high 12 assists as the Clippers beat the Rockets by 11 points and moved to 30 games above .500. With victories against the Timberwolves on Monday and the Suns on Wednesday, the Clippers clinched their second consecutive Pacific Division title.
4-1-14: The Clippers faced some relatively easy opponents this past week and went 3-1. On Saturday, Chris Paul put up 28 points, 15 assists and six steals as Los Angeles beat the Detroit Pistons, 112-103. On Monday, the Clippers kept up their great play at home, as they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks by eight points. Blake Griffin scored 27 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds as the Clippers won their 50th game of the season. Unfortunately, Doc Rivers’ squad dropped Wednesday’s game at New Orleans, but Paul led the Clippers with a game-high 31 points on Thursday in their victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
3-24-14: The Clippers pushed their winning streak to double digits before losing in the high elevation in Denver on Monday. Behind Blake Griffin’s game-high 20 points on Friday, Los Angeles extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 96-87 victory over the Utah Jazz. The Clippers made it 11 consecutive wins as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 102-80, on Sunday. After a strong performance in that game, Blake Griffin was named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week. Unfortunately, even though Chris Paul led the way with 29 points on Monday, the Clippers could not continue their winning streak as they fell by 10 points against the Nuggets.
3-17-14: The Clippers are continuing their domination of the league. With three more wins this past week, they have now won nine consecutive games. Each of Los Angeles’ three games were at the Staples Center this past week. On Saturday, Jamal Crawford returned from his calf injury to play 10 minutes, but it continued to bother him and he missed the other two games. However, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul made up for his absence. Griffin scored game-high points and Paul put up game-high assists in all three contests this past week as the Clippers defeated the Atlanta Hawks, the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors.
3-10-14: The Clippers are arguably the hottest team in the league right now. They just seem to not be able to lose. This past week, Los Angeles doubled its winning streak from three to six games. On Saturday, the Clippers hosted the New Orleans Pelicans and blew them out, 108-76. Then, on Tuesday, Doc Rivers’ squad traveled to Phoenix, and Matt Barnes led the way. He scored a game-high 28 points in the Clippers’ victory over the Suns. After Blake Griffin was named the Western Conference Player of the Month, the Clippers had their largest margin of victory in franchise history with their 142-94 win over the Lakers.
3-3-14: Although the Clippers’ schedule has been difficult, they are finding their stride. They went on a three-game, four-day road trip against the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans and finished with a solid 2-1 record. Interestingly, they swept the back-to-back set after falling to the Grizzlies, 102-96. On Sunday, the Clippers overcame Kevin Durant’s 42 points to beat the Thunder, 125-117. Then before Monday’s game, Glen Davis signed with the Clippers to reunite with Doc Rivers. Although Davis did not play that evening, Los Angeles defeated the Pelicans, 123-110. Blake Griffin kept up his strong scoring as he put up 23 points and a game-high 16 rebounds in the Clippers’ 101-93 victory over the Houston Rockets.
2-24-14: Chris Paul was the captain of the Western Conference for the All-Star Saturday festivities. He joined Blake Griffin on the All-Star team the following night. Blake Griffin dominated the first quarter of the All-Star game and finished with 19 made field goals, which set a new All-Star record. While a couple of Clippers had a busy All-Star weekend, the rest of the team got to rest and then played just one game this past week. Unfortunately, J.J. Redick, who missed his fifth consecutive game on Tuesday, is now out three to five weeks with a variety of injuries. Chris Paul had a frustrating game in the team’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs. The Clippers also made a couple of trades that brought in a second-round pick and the rights to Cenk Akyol.
2-18-14: The Clippers bounced back from last week’s subpar performances to beat the Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers this past week. Blake Griffin started Friday’s game very well and led the Clippers with 36 points en route to the team’s 118-105 victory over the Raptors. That marked the first time in Griffin’s career that he scored at least 30 points in three consecutive games. Then, Chris Paul played for the first time since January 3, and he helped Los Angeles defeat the 76ers by 45 points, which represented the Clippers’ largest margin of victory in a single game in franchise history. On Wednesday, the Clippers kept up their high scoring output as they beat the Blazers, 122-117.
2-10-14: After defeating the Utah Jazz by 15 points on Saturday, the Clippers were not able to put together a winning streak. They gave up 116 points on both Monday and Wednesday and lost both games. The first loss was in Denver on a Randy Foye buzzer-beater, and the second was a four-point defeat at the hands of the Miami Heat. Although Blake Griffin led all scorers in each of those losses, he definitely needs Chris Paul back soon. Fortunately, he could be back within a few days. The plan is for the Clippers star point guard to return on Sunday and play both of the team’s remaining games before the All-Star game.
2-4-14: The Grammy road trip finally is over, and the Chris Paul-less Clippers just finished playing nine games in nine different cities within a two-week stretch. They performed very well during this span to make a push towards the top of the Western Conference standings. During this past week, Los Angeles played five games, including two back-to-back sets. Blake Griffin’s near triple-double on Friday at Chicago and Jamal Crawford’s season-high 37 points on Saturday at Toronto got the Clippers a perfect 2-0 weekend. Then, Los Angeles blew out the Bucks in Milwaukee and returned home to defeat the Washington Wizards. However, the Clippers ran out of energy and could not complete the 5-0 week at Golden State.
1-27-14: This past week, the Clippers began their annual Grammy road trip, which includes seven different Eastern Conference opponents. On Friday at Madison Square Garden, Blake Griffin’s game-high 32 points led the way as Los Angeles defeated the New York Knicks. Although the Clippers’ five-game winning streak ended on Saturday in Indiana, that loss can be attributed to the difficult schedule. Playing on the second night of a back-to-back against the league’s best team is tough for any squad. However, the Clippers bounced back on Monday, as DeAndre Jordan’s 16 points and game-high 21 rebounds helped them get the win over the Pistons. Los Angeles’ success was short-lived though as the team fell to the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.
1-20-14: Although the Clippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks on January 3, Chris Paul, one of the best players in the league, went down with a separated shoulder. However, it was not a devastating blow because he is expected to return in about a month. Speaking of injured starters, the Clippers had been without J.J. Redick for more than a month before he returned on January 10, as Los Angeles continued its success at home. In his first game in a long time, he scored 19 points in 23 minutes as the Clippers dominated the Lakers. Then on Wednesday, he and his career-high 33 points helped the Clippers rally from a 17-point deficit to beat the Mavericks again.
1-7-14: The Clippers had a relatively light schedule this past week, as they played just three games, and they all took place at the Staples Center. On Saturday, Los Angeles hosted the Utah Jazz, and Blake Griffin’s season-high 40 points led the Clippers to their 21st victory of the season. In addition, Chris Paul filled the stat sheet with a near triple-double that night: 21 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and five steals. Although the Clippers dropped their game on Monday to the Phoenix Suns by 19 points, they bounced back to obliterate the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday. Griffin led all scorers with 31 points in that contest.
12-30-13: The Clippers finished their homestand very well, but had a frustrating Christmas road trip afterwards. They began the week with Saturday’s 21-point victory over the Denver Nuggets. Jamal Crawford led all scorers in that contest with 27 points, the most he has put up in a game at the Staples Center this season. In addition, Blake Griffin added 24 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. Then, on the next night, the Clippers mounted an unbelievable comeback in the fourth quarter to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in overtime, 120-116. The victory pushed their winning streak to a season-best five games. However, the Clippers suffered difficult losses on the road at Golden State and Portland later in the week that bumped their record back to 20-11.
12-22-13: The Clippers had a perfect 3-0 week, as they pushed their record to 18-9 in their attempt to assert themselves as one of the Western Conference’s best teams. Doc Rivers’ squad finished its seven-game road trip on Saturday in Washington with a 16-point victory. Chris Paul led all players in that game with 38 points, which are the most he has scored in a road contest this season. The Clippers then hosted the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Pelicans. Blake Griffin led his teammates in those games as he scored a combined 48 points to go with 19 rebounds.
12-13-13: The recent injury to J.J. Redick has really affected the Clippers’ offense. Although they remain in the top 10 in the league as far as offensive efficiency this season, the Clippers did not score 100 points in any of the four games in the last week. That marks the first time they have gone that long without scoring triple digits this season. The Clippers still went 2-2 over that stretch, which was part of a seven-game road trip. To help with the depth, the team signed Stephen Jackson, who made his 2013-14 debut on Wednesday in Boston. The Clippers sandwiched victories over the 76ers and Celtics with losses to the Cavaliers and Nets.
12-7-13: The Clippers made it look easy on Thursday in Memphis as they won 101-81 against the Grizzlies to make Doc Rivers the third active head coach with 600 wins. Although Chris Paul only had eight assists in that contest, it still led all players in that game. In addition, Paul leads all players in assists in 2013-14 by a large margin. However, a hamstring injury forced him to sit out against the Kings on the previous Friday. The Clippers still won that game, but they lost J.J. Redick for six to eight weeks because of a torn ligament in his right elbow. Los Angeles then lost to the Pacers on Sunday and in Atlanta on Wednesday.
11-28-13: The 11-5 Los Angeles Clippers took care of business this week, winning all three of their games – each against a struggling team. The wins over the Kings, Rose-less Bulls and New York Knicks are all important in the competitive Western Conference – especially after a tough early season schedule (5th toughest so far). Chris Paul strained his right hamstring on Wednesday night, but he expects to play Friday night against the Sacramento Kings.
11-22-13: The 8-5 Clippers are coming off a road loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night, after the typically strong Clippers offense couldn’t get into a rhythm. Despite playing the third toughest schedule in the NBA so far, Lob City is still meshing well and improving Doc Rivers’ defense each and every game and Chris Paul has had double digit assists in all 13 games this season. As the team flow improves and the schedule balances back out, the wins will continue to come for the Clippers.
11-15-13: L.A. has been executing perfectly lately, as they’ve ascended to 6-3 thanks to a 3-0 record in week three. Wins over tough opponents like the Rockets, T’Wolves and Thunder have the Clippers looking like one of the toughest teams out west, while they currently hold a tie for first place in the Pacific Division with the Golden State Warriors.
11-8-13: Lob City got started off right in 2013, as new additions J.J. Redick and Jared Dudley fit like gloves in the offense, and Chris Paul has been a man possessed through the first six games. Paul hasn’t been quite enough to eliminate concerns over L.A.s’ porous defense, however, as the Clips dropped three straight after opening the season with a 3-0 start.
11-1-13: Doc Rivers comes to town with the high expectations of bringing an NBA championship to the Clippers faithful. This team has made the playoffs in two consecutive seasons, but has not gotten past the Western Conference semifinals. Los Angeles made some offseason changes in order to buck that trend. The Clippers acquired Jared Dudley and J.J. Redick in addition to signing Darren Collison, Antawn Jamison and Byron Mullins. Collison, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan all performed well in the preseason, and Clippers fans would like to see that continue because all three players are key to the team’s success in 2013-14.
10-18-13: The Los Angeles Clippers are 3-1 in their first four games of the preseason, with the only loss coming at Sacramento. Jamal Crawford was Los Angeles’ leading scorer with 25 points coming off the bench in the loss. During the Clipper’s 106-74 blowout of the Utah Jazz in the second preseason game, DeAndre Jordan had 14 points, seven rebounds and six blocks. The Clippers still have four preseason games remaining:

10-17-13: Maalik Wayns will miss six weeks because of knee surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee. Wayns was injured in the Clippers' preseason game on Monday against the Kings.
8-26-13: The Clippers have agreed to sign free agent forward Antawn Jamison.
8-23-13: Any fear of a Lob City breakup was premature, as Chris Paul took little time in recommitting to the Los Angeles Clippers after signing his 5-year, $107M contract. Apparently throwing lobs to Blake Griffin, in Southern California, isn’t such a bad gig. The Clippers also landed free agent SG J.J. Redick whom they acquired in a three team sign and trade. The Clippers also acquired Jared Dudley in the deal in which they sent out promising young PG Eric Bledsoe along with Caron Butler. The team didn’t waste much time in replacing Bledsoe with Darren Collison, on a steal of a deal at 2-years, $3.9M. The Clippers also re-signed Matt Barnes and Ryan Hollins and brought in big man Byron Mullens for depth.
The Los Angeles Clippers open their home season schedule on Thursday, October 31st against the Golden State Warriors. They will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers, in the home locker room, on Friday, January 10th and again on Sunday, April 6th. The Oklahoma City Thunder visit on Wednesday, November 13th as well as on Wednesday, April 9th. LeBron James and the Miami Heat will face off against the Clippers on Wednesday, February 5th.

Chris Paul will replace Derek Fisher as president of the National Basketball Players Association. Chris Paul has been voted president of the National Basketball Players Association. Roger Mason will serve as first vice president. Steve Blake and Anthony Tolliver will also serve as vice presidents.
8-16-13: The Clippers appear poised to sign Lamar Odom. New head coach Doc Rivers has recently received rave reviews from former coach Vinny Del Negro. There were earlier reports that they were close to signed Antawn Jamison, but he believes they will sign Odom.
7-20-13: The Clippers have signed free agent center Byron Mullens to a two-year, $2 million deal.
7-7-13: The Clippers signed Darren Collison to a two-year deal worth $1.9 million.
7-4-13: The Clippers, Bucks and Suns have agreed on a 3-way trade that would send Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler to the Suns, Jared Dudley and JJ Redick to the Clippers and two 2nd-round picks to Bucks.
7-1-13: Chris Paul has resigned with the Clippers on a 5-year $107.3 million deal. In the first year of the deal he’ll earn $18.8 million.
6-28-13: Doc Rivers will be the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers for the next three seasons thanks to a trade with the Celtics that brought Rivers to LA in exchange for an unprotected 2015 first-round draft pick. He will make $21 million.

6-12-13: The Clippers have started to build a reputation around the league as being a regular season geared team. Their playoff performances have done nothing to offset this trend. This year ended in a first round exit at the hands of the Memphis Grizzles. In the playoffs the Clippers were outclassed and out-witted yet again. With the future of Chris Paul in the air, no one knows what lies ahead. The Clippers also refused to commit to head coach Vinny Del Negro for next season too. Recent there was slight controversy regarding the firing of Del Negro. Sources insinuated that the Clippers fired him in order to please Chris Paul. Paul refuted these allegations vehemently, denying any such thing was even remotely true.
11-26-12 - The Clippers have been impressive at home but have struggled a bit on the road. At 8-5 overall they are the Pacific division leaders through November. A recent three game losing streak is the cause for the slight dip in their record. This coming after two impressive wins against the Spurs and an opening night victory against Memphis.
