P.J. Masten, former Playboy bunny, says Bill Cosby raped her and other bunnies, as Judy Huth plans to file LAPD report of her sexual assault claims

In an interview with the Daily News, P.J. Masten said Cosby attacked her in 1979 when she was working as a Bunny manager at the Playboy club in Chicago. The former bunny said she decided to come forward when Judy Huth filed a lawsuit claiming she was also assaulted by the comedian at the Playboy Mansion. Huth was planning Friday to file a report on the decades-old incident with the Los Angeles Police Department with new lawyer Gloria Allred.

Another Playboy bunny has stepped forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault saying the now disgraced comedian drugged and raped her and up to a dozen others.

In an interview with the Daily News, P.J. Masten said Cosby attacked her in 1979 when she was working as a Bunny manager at the Playboy Club in Chicago.

Masten said Cosby lured her to his room at the Whitehall Hotel in Chicago that night with a promise they’d go out to dinner. When she arrived, Cosby was smoking cigars with a group of male friends and served her a glass of Grand Marnier on the rocks, she said.

“I don’t remember anything after I drank it,” she told The News. “The next thing I knew it was 4 o’clock in the morning and I woke up naked with this disgusting man next to me.”

“There are a dozen former bunnies that I know of with similar stories, but they’re afraid to come forward,” she said.

Masten, now 64, said she “slithered out of bed,” found her clothes in a pile, dressed and caught a taxi home.

“I have no idea what he gave me, but I woke up feeling very groggy and very sore. I knew I had been raped,” she told The News.

This is the second celebrity that Masten has accused of sexual abuse. In 1997, she testified against Marv Albert, claiming the famed sportscaster bit her and tried to force her to perform oral sex in a Dallas hotel in 1994 while he was wearing women’s panties and a garter. Masten said she escaped by pulling off Albert’s toupée.

Albert pleaded guilty to assault and battery the day after her surprise testimony against him, but he always maintained that Masten’s claims were a fabrication.

Now a small business owner in Lyndhurst, N.J., Masten said Cosby called her the next day and asked why she left his room so early.

“I told him I had to be at work, and he said he was going to send me something. It was a 4-foot ficus tree with a card that read, ‘Friendships have to be groomed like this tree,’” she recalled. “I just let the tree die.”

The former bunny said she decided to speak up again after hearing that southern California resident Judy Huth had filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles claiming Cosby sexually assaulted her inside the Playboy Mansion back in 1974 when she was just 15 years old.

Huth was planning Friday to file a report on the decades-old incident with the Los Angeles Police Department with new lawyer Gloria Allred. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck vowed Thursday that his detectives would investigate any formal complaints of sexual assault related to Cosby, no matter the timeframe.

Masten says she was encouraged by a supervisor at the Playboy club not to come forward because Cosby was good friends with the magazine's founder, Hugh Hefner.

Huth spent some 90 minutes with two detectives from the LAPD’s Special Victims Unit as she filed her complaint, Allred said.

“All I can say is that I came here because Chief Beck said come, even if it might be time-barred,” Huth said. “Thanks for the invitation, I accepted it.”

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed Friday that Cosby’s star on the Walk of Fame had been vandalized. A photo posted earlier this week on Twitter showed the word “Rapist” scrawled three times on the comedian’s five-pointed star.

Earlier in the day, former supermodel Janice Dickinson got emotional during an interview on MSNBC, calling Cosby a “dog” for allegedly drugging and raping her in Lake Tahoe in 1982.

She attacked Cosby’s defense lawyer Marty Singer specifically, demanding that he “wake up” and take her seriously. “What if someone raped your wife, Marty? You’ve got daughters, Marty. What if Bill Cosby came and drugged their innocence, Marty? How you like me now, Marty?,” she said after holding up both of her middle fingers to the camera.

Cosby’s camp didn’t respond to a request for comment Friday, but Singer has repeatedly ripped similar accusations in recent weeks.

As shock waves continue to ripple, the former “Fat Albert” star postponed two shows scheduled for Saturday in Tarrytown.
