Since the unceremonious end of Chappelle's Show back in 2006, comedian Dave Chappelle has been a mystery wrapped inside of an enigma. True to that nature, he just announced a series of stand-up shows in four states over the next two-and-a-half weeks, including two in Dallas.

Chappelle will play back-to-back sets at the House of Blues Dallas on Monday, December 15, the first at 7 pm and the second at 9:30. He's also scheduled for dates in New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Louisville, Kentucky — for a total of 14 shows from December 11-20.

Chappelle has reemerged a bit in recent years, taking part in the Dallas stop of Funny or Die's Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour in 2013. He's also been a steady presence on the stand-up circuit, although many of his appearances have been as mysterious as his upcoming performances.

Tickets, if you can still find them, are now on sale through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $45 for general admission to $55 for reserved seating.
