When the Whitney opens the doors of its new building to the public in May 2015, the landscape of contemporary culture in New York will shift. The Museum’s community of supporters is invited to take a vanguard place within this transformation. Downtown Member Saturday is your chance to hear first-hand about the Whitney’s curatorial vision and plans for the inaugural year, and to start exploring the Museum’s history and its historic neighborhood.
