New England native Teresa Gubbins began her career in Dallas as a pastry chef for the Buffalo Club, Cafe Society and the Mansion on Turtle Creek. In 1992, she joined the Dallas Morning News as a reporter, and she’s been covering the food and dining scene here ever since, for publications such as D Magazine, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Gayot.com and Pegasus News. She co-authored the first Zagat Survey of Texas Restaurants and has written for Edible Dallas/Fort Worth, American Way Custom Publishing and Nation's Restaurant News.
