booking

hi friends!! i like doing live shows!! i average about 50 per year. many of them are DIY shows in houses, cafes, and art galleries, but recently i’ve expanded to readings and workshops at colleges too. i’ve done sets ranging from five minutes to an hour, and i can perform with background music over a PA, or just voice alone. here’s a bunch of recordings from my shows. i plan to tour heavily for most of my life, it’s increasingly how i make a living, so if you’re interested in booking me, please let me know!

COLLEGE BOOKING

if you’re a student or teacher at a college right now, you can boost me enormously by helping to get me booked at your school. colleges can often pay performers very well, and that financial support helps a lot to subsidize the free work i do. if you can help me get booked at your college, i’ll owe you and love you forever

you might not know how to get performers booked at your school, or you might not have many connections. that’s ok! i’ve been working with scott and liz of evil twin booking this year—scott and liz share my values and ethics while also understanding college booking inside and out. so if you’re willing to help us from the inside, they can tell you who to contact, and what to say!

DIY BOOKING

i still like doing DIY events too! i like performing at comedy and music shows as well as poetry readings. i’m especially interested in events at vegan cafes and co-op houses that share my values.

usually i book DIY shows around a college reading so the trip is well funded. send me an email (boosthousebooking@gmail.com) and tell me where you’d like to book me, what city and what kind of venue! for DIY shows i don’t always need a guarantee, but i appreciate if you make a strong effort to cover my costs, with door donations or some thing! please just be clear about what you can offer on that front. thank you so much!
