Coffee with a Cop
CWCTo strengthen community partnerships, the Flower Mound Police Department has announced that it will now hold “Coffee with a Cop” community meetings. The purpose of “Coffee with a Cop” is for FMPD Officers and members of the community to come together in an informal setting to discuss community issues and build relationships.

Unfortunately, the majority of law enforcement interactions within a community occur during emergencies or situations not conducive to strengthening relationships. With each monthly “Coffee with a Cop” program, officers will be able to talk one-on-one with residents in an informal setting. Flower Mound Police Officers will hold each meeting at a different location, in an effort to hear from all residents, from 7 to 9 a.m. on the first Friday of the month.

Please join us for our upcoming "Coffee with a Cop" community meeting:

October 3, 2014 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Trio Craft Coffee, 2628 Long Prairie Road, Suite 103.

“Coffee with a Cop” is a national initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
