The listed animals are ready for adoption.   All animals may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at the Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center, 3950 Justin Road. After-hour appointments are available upon request.

There is no charge to adopt a dog or cat; however, state and town ordinances require that the adopter have the animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed or neutered within 15 days of adoption.

These Pets of the Week are telling Santa they’d like to have a family of their very own this Christmas! Our featured pup is Angel, a fun-loving, one-year-old terrier mix. Angel is eager to please her new family and also enjoys being scratched behind the ears as well as walks in the great outdoors. She’s hoping to her new family will help her explore Flower Mound’s extensive trail system! Our kitty of the week is Kibbles, a 12-year-old calico who has been at our Adoption Center for more than a year. Even though Kibbles isn’t a kitten anymore, she still has a lot of love to give and really enjoys humans of all ages. She even likes to get up close to you and will stand in your lap, hoping for a back scratch or two.
