The Business Journal and Jefferson Awards recognized Twin Cities businesses that dedicate time, talent and energy to charitable causes.
This year's five winners, which will be featured in the Dec. 19 Weekly Edition of the Business Journal, are:

We celebrated the winners along with past recipients of Business Journal honors at the Xcel Energy Center Thursday afternoon.

The Jefferson Awards were founded in 1972 by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, U.S. Sen. Robert Taft Jr. and Sam Beard, founder and chairman of the National Development Council, to honor public and community service.
