American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is an economic stimulus package enacted by the 111th United States Congress and signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009.  A response to the economic downturn, the Act opens up funding and targets investments in numerous programs, including energy conservation, housing, science, technology, infrastructure, education, public safety, healthcare and creating jobs.  In keeping with the spirit of the Recovery Act, the following stimulus dollars provided to Flower Mound will help boost our economy, provide needed services, and put more people to work.
