Town of Flower Mound ordinances require that all pets be registered annually.  (Ord. 6-82)  Registering a pet provides Animal Services staff with access to vaccination information in the event of a bite and assists in reuniting a lost pet with its family.

The free pet registration can be completed at the Animal Adoption Center and the Flower Mound Police Department during standard business hours. In addition, registrations can be processed via mail, fax, and at various animal clinics. Proof of current rabies vaccination from a veterinarian is required when registering your pet.
