This chart contains cost estimates based on real-life noise mitigation conducted on oil and gas facilities.  The costs come from acoustical consulting firms located in Colorado, New Mexico and Alberta, Canada.  The numbers show that mitigating noise from oil and gas facilities is not cost prohibitive, especially during these times of high oil and gas prices and record company profits.
