It's hard to believe that a radio program could be so popular in 2014, as it smacks of another era altogether. Serial dramas were popular in the 1940s, and listeners gathered around crackling analog devices as the story unfolded ever so slowly each week. A spinoff of the well-regarded This American Life takes that approach, but with a story that's anything but fiction. Serial chronicles the events following the tragic killing of a Baltimore high schooler in 1999, and explores the possibility of whether or not the convicted murderer was actually guilty. The show took a break over the holiday, so listeners have been awaiting the next episode with much anticipation. The previous episode will play at 7 pm and the new one at 8 pm. Seating is limited.
