• 151 Spills occurred less than 50 feet from groundwater
• 41 Spills occurred between 50 and 100 feet from groundwater

• 63 Spills occurred in within 1,500 feet of cows, pigs, sheep, or other livestock
• 225 Spills occurred within 1,500 feet of a building
• 65 Spills were larger than 1,000 square feet in size
• 373 Spills were the result of equipment failure of human error
