Recycle Your Christmas Tree After the Holidays
The Flower Mound Parks and Recreation Division will offer free Christmas tree recycling from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 27 through Jan. 5 at Gerault Park, 1200 Gerault Road. The recycling program will be offered to residents only, and will not be available to commercial Christmas tree businesses. Trees cannot be flocked, and must have all the nails and decorations removed as well. Lumber and trash will not be allowed. Residents who would like mulch are encouraged to bring their own containers. For more information, call 972.874.PARK.

Twin Coves Park - Overnight Camping

The Parks and Recreation Division is now offering overnight camping at Twin Coves Park, so get your RV, sleeping bags and mosquito spray ready. The Town is taking reservations for the campground at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Rd., and over the phone at 972.874.6299. Twin Coves Park - Boat Ramp Now Open
The Town has completed the boat ramp extension by an additional 33 feet so that it can be used during drought conditions. Please continue to be cautious when using the ramp as lake levels are very low and there could be underwater obstructions.


Twin Coves Park - 2015 Annual Passes
The Town of Flower Mound will begin selling 2015 annual passes for Twin Coves Park on December 1. Annual pass fees are $35 for residents or $50 for non-Flower Mound residents, and are good from Jan. 1, 2015 - Dec. 31, 2015. Annual passes can be purchased during normal business hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday) at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office located within the Community Activity Center (CAC), 1200 Gerault Rd.

Annual passes for 2015 can also be purchased from the automated attendant at Twin Coves Park starting January 1. If an annual pass is purchased at the park, individuals will need to stop by the CAC to pick-up their access card.  Please bring the original receipt and proof of residency (if Flower Mound resident) to pick-up the access card. One additional access card per household can also be purchased for $10 at the Parks and Recreation Offices only. Flower Mound Park Pavilions
Rent one of our beautiful park pavilions for your next party or event. The Parks and Recreation Division maintains several pavilions throughout the Town including the newest pavilion at The Heritage Park of Flower Mound, adjacent to the Fort Wildflower community built playground. Park facility reservations can be scheduled up to six months in advance. Reservations must be made in person at the CAC during regular business hours (M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm). Adventures Online Registration
The Town of Flower Mound is excited to offer online registration through the Adventures Online Registration system. Residents can access up-to-date information and register for Recreation, Athletics, and Senior programming, and renew their CAC memberships 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Be sure to check back periodically for updates to the Parks & Trail Map. Trail sections are constantly changing from proposed to existing as the Town continues to develop.
