In a floor speech that drew a standing ovation from fellow Democrats, state , D-Cecil, on Tuesday called a vote for H.B. 1950 a vote for "corporate welfare."
The House is expected to continue deliberations on the bill today.
The Senate version of the Marcellus Shale bill passed Tuesday, with Sen. Tim Solobay, D-Canonsburg, calling the bill and associated impact fee a compromise that will "help communities (and) boost protections."
