The Associated Press has moved a story regarding a relatively new policy at the Texas Railroad Commission that bars staffers from doing media interviews, noting that it comes as the agency faces two high-profile environmental issues: water contamination and seismic activity related to disposal wells. The report says the policy was instituted in August by executive director Milton Rister, who was appointed to the post in September 2012. Rister previously was an aide to Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
