Matthews & Associates has not always focused primarily on dangerous drugs and devices. In 2007 the firm won a $3.64 million jury verdict in a rape and kidnapping case against the largest shopping mall in Texas and one of the country’s largest security companies. Mother Jones detailed the story of a multi-million dollar verdict Mr. Matthews won for a mother in a defective baby cradle case – “The Hand that Rocks the Cradle.” More recent wins include a $73 Million verdict in a transvaginal mesh sling case, a $2.95 Million jury verdict in a fracking case and a $3 Million verdict in a Topamax birth defects case.
Individual Cases, Individual Attention
At Matthews & Associates, we file cases individually and prosecute them on their own merits. In pharmaceutical drug litigation, people often have vastly different injuries and circumstances; therefore they need their cases filed on an individual basis. That’s why we virtually always file cases individually, and prosecute them accordingly.
