DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – Much has been made of Dez Bryant’s showing of emotion on the Cowboys sideline during Dallas’ 41-28 win over Chicago on Thursday night.

After Chicago trimmed a 25-point deficit to 10 points with just over six minutes remaining, Bryant was shown yelling on the sideline.

Some have deemed the yelling selfish. Others have called it unnecessary. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has a slightly different view of his star receiver’s emotional makeup.

“He’s a teddy bear. He’s the neatest guy to be around you’ve ever seen,” said Jones on the G-Bag Nation. “But I’m gonna tell you one thing: he’s got a passion button, and there’s just no stopping him. You just can’t calm him down when he gets going.”

Jones says that Bryant often uses a “productive part” of his energy during such outbursts. But in the end, the Cowboys owner isn’t bothered by the display — no matter how bad it looks on television.

“That’s his passion. This team uses some of this passion,” said Jones. “It’s a positive thing for us. Not a negative thing.  “

Bryant had six receptions for 82 yards on Thursday.
