Q. What does a base listing cost?

A base listing is only $295 for 30 days.

Q. What do I get for a base listing?

A base listing promotes your opportunity within the local business journal career center. Jobs can be found by keyword searches across our entire site and by selecting job categories within the career center. You can select up to 3 job categories that fit your job opening so you can make sure it gets the needed exposure.

Q. How do candidates contact me to apply for my job?

When posting your job there is an option for candidates to either email a cover letter and resume to the designated email address or apply directly on your website.

Q. Can I post job listings for multiple business journal markets?

Yes, this is custom product that can be handled by our customer care team. We have over 40 different business journal markets so we can help get the most exposure for your opportunity.

Q. Is there a Featured job listing option and if so, what does that include?

Yes, we have Featured job listings. This places your job above base listing results within the career center sections and includes a company logo and shading. In addition to the career center features, your job is cross-posted to the homepage, article pages, and daily update emails for your local business journal.

Q. How much does a Featured job cost and how do I make my listings Featured?

Our customer care team is available to make your listing a Featured listing contact us. A featured listing is only $100 more than a base listing even though it includes all the additional features mentioned above.

Q. Why hasn't my job appeared online yet?

It usually takes 10 minutes for a job posting to appear in the listings. Please check back then.

Q. Are there other recruitment solutions besides a job posting on The Business Journals?

Yes, we have lots of custom recruitment solutions we can put together to suit your individual needs. Our customer care team is available to speak with you about your specific needs and build a custom solution for you contact us.

Q. Will my information as the job poster be published anywhere?

No, your company name will appear but not any contact information tied to your account unless you disclose a telephone number or email in your job description.

Q. How will the charge appear on my credit card statement?

The charge will appear on your credit card statement as The Business Journals.

Q. Will I receive an invoice?

No. Your credit card is charged automatically and you will be provided with a receipt via email. If you prefer to be invoiced for your purchase please contact our customer care team.

Q. Where is my receipt?

After you have submitted your credit card and billing information, the confirmation page will include a copy of your receipt. Please print this page for your records. A copy will also be sent to the email address you provided in your account details.

Q. Why didn't I receive a receipt?

Sometimes receipts end up in your "junk" or "spam" folder. However if it's not there, feel free to contact us and we would be happy to send you a copy.

Q. What if I misplaced, deleted, or didn't receive a receipt or confirmation email?

Q. Can I edit my job listing?

Yes. The confirmation email after posting the job contains your account information. Within your account you can make any required edits you may need or feel free to contact us and we’ll take care of it for you.

Q. How do I close or delete a job listing?

Within your same account you can also close or delete your job posting if you choose to do so.

Q. I've filled my job early. Can I have a refund?

Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds but are pleased to hear you filled your position.

Q. I didn't get the applications I was looking for. Can I have a refund?

Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds but we will be more than happy to optimize your job listing or discuss additional recruitment packages to broaden your exposure.
