WACO, Texas (AP) — Waco police have arrested a 33-year-old woman who they say attacked her estranged husband with a Molotov cocktail and a hammer.
Angela Alexandor was being held Friday morning at the McLennan County jail on $41,000 bond. She is charged with aggravated assault of a family member, attempted arson and criminal mischief.
Police say Alexandor went to the victim’s house on Wednesday night and unsuccessfully tried to light the cocktail. They say the husband confronted her and she then doused him with gasoline and tried to set him on fire. Officers say when that didn’t work she hit him in the head with the hammer.
The husband suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
Online jail records didn’t list an attorney for Alexandor.
