Class/Exam Schedule

Classes and exams are held year-round in all regions of Texas.  The Alternative Energy Division’s 8-hour classes are FREE for RRC certificate holders who have paid the annual renewal fee. The fee for an 8-hour class is $75 per person for new applicants' first-year training class and for uncertified individuals, including those whose certificates have expired.

CLASSES: Pre-registration is required for all classes at least 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled class. Classes may be canceled up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date.  All classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. REGISTER NOW. 

EXAMS: Walk-in exams are offered every business day from 8 a.m.-12 noon at 6506 Bolm Road, Austin.  Pre-registration is required for all examinations given outside Austin. Please register at least 7 business days prior to the date you intend to take an examination. Exams scheduled outside Austin may be canceled up to seven business days before the scheduled date. REGISTER NOW.

EXAMS ONLY in the class type column means on that day there is no class; only exams will be given. Exam start time is 8:00 a.m., no exams will be started after 8:30 a.m. All exams must be turned in by 3:00 p.m.

CLASS STUDENTS in the class type column means on that day only students in the class may take exams.
