Speaker Rhett Butler

Rhett Butler’s story is about making the effort to be “indomitable” in life and your pursuits. Framed by his brother’s improbable journey and the lessons for life, love and hope beyond all reason, Rhett takes his audience on an emotional roller coaster before challenging them to apply the lessons that his teacher, his brother, Ashley, a miraculous cancer survivor, taught so effortlessly.

Rhett Butler simply defies classification. He is an internationally renowned virtuoso guitarist that has performed throughout the United States and Europe. His book, “The Patient and Caregiver’s Guide to Cancer” is an Amazon Best-Seller in both Oncology and Caregiving. Rhett is a noted cancer patient advocate and philanthropist. The documentary that he directed and produced about the life of his brother, “Chasing Miracles” was selected for the 2011 Dallas International Film Festival. Rhett is currently studying to become a physician.
