Are your current reading materials—an equal mix of business, tech blogs, and graphic novels—sync’d across all of your devices? (Except, of course, for those classics that are best read in hard copy.) Are you the first person your otherwise stern father-in-law calls for tech support? Bet you set up that site for your kids’ little league team, too! You went ahead and did that before you were even asked, didn’t you?

Your technology skills are as well defined as your customer service skills. You get tremendous satisfaction from identifying the real problem and coming up with the most efficient, effective, and long lasting solutions. People have complimented you on your ability to see the forest and the trees. Working with a team is as fun as working solo. Your idea of a great day at work means every day presents another chance to go check on users to make sure everything you set up really does work for them; heading over to a new client’s office to learn about their business; having the “a-ha!” moment of coming up with the most elegant IT solution to that business problem. Maybe it’s time we talked.
