Happy Fracing Earth Day!!!!

Yesterday two Denton residents reported what appeared to be illegal dumping of sewage by Range Resources employees from travel trailers parked on site at northwest corner of Bonnie Brae and Scripture. The odor and drainage was on the west side of the site outside of the sound barrier wall. The concerned citizens put in a call to the wastewater collections for the city of Denton whose solution was to send out a ‘crew’ to talk with the Range’s foreman. Range claimed that they had just lost a little drilling mud off one of their trucks. I guess they didn’t see any point in taking a sample of the spill nor did they get a really good look because they missed the big wads of toilet paper.
The concerned citizens proceeded to call TCEQ and TRC to look into the spill. Meanwhile Range starts bull dozing the spill to cover-up whatever it was they dumped/spilled/discharged/spewed/polluted. The police, fire department and other city officials watched as the cover-up occurred.
We are anxiously waiting on the reports from all the agencies which were contacted and from the city on how they intend to deal with this situation. I also can’t wait to see how Range will explain why they didn’t report the spill immediately.
You decided is it sewage or toxic mud? Here are some of the videos to help in your analysis of this perplexing situation:

Please also note this video occurred on the west facing sound barrier and the bore holes for the well are on the east side of the site. The driveway for access to the site is on the north side of the property. I obtained video which shows 3 5th wheel travel trailers with the back of the trailers sitting directly in front of the area where the video was taken.
In conclusion the drilling mud would have had to run across the approximate 3 acre site without leaving a trail. A more plausible explantion would be the drilling mud ran out the north side driveway, made a 45 degree turn, and then landed 50 to 75 ft from the corner of the site without leaving a trail.
Both make sense to me so I will let you decide.

If Range is having it's waste water hauled off there would be a record. I requested a log of time and date from Range regarding when a waste water company was on site and emptied the tanks from the 5th wheel travel trailers parked on site. I spoke with Mr. Devinney from the waste water dept who was going on the well site Friday to inspect regarding allegation of illedgal dumping. I asked Mr. Devinney to please obtain, copy, or look at the records for waste disposal and call me. I have yet heard from Mr. Devinney or seen any records.
Tyler Henderson is the agent I spoke with at the Texas Railroad Commission. The Railroad Commission should have gone on site to see if the "spill" was contained, if it truly was one barrel of drilling mud, if there was any contamination.
To call someone and ask them if they have broken the law is ridiculous.
The call would go something like this: Mr. Range this is the Texas Railroad Commission. Mr Range are you good ole boys breaking the law there in that political hotbed of a town Denton. Well, yes Mr. Commission but we just broke it a little and you know some of the residents of this town are picking on us and they are just a bunch of overreactive fools. Mr. Range yea that is what I figured well listen just please be more careful next time when you spill something to do it behind the wall so no one can see you, these phone calls are starting to annoy me. Mr. Commission yea we will do that. It was a new guy who "spilled the mud" and he has not gotten to that part of the training manual, how to spill toxic waste and not get caught. OK Mr. Range just be more careful in the future and don't get caught and don't forget were going fishing this Sunday. Mr. Commission I'm looking forward to the fishing but it will be catch and release because you never know about the water here in Texas.

Why don't you post the video with the 5th wheels in it then? Oh yeah there isn't 5th wheels there, they are mobile homes. Also what you are doing is called trespassing!

That is a nice picture of my trailer. Please no what you are talking about before you accuse it.But whatever gives you something to write about. I notice everyone complains about drilling for gas. I also know that nobody is willing to give up the luxuries it creates. Like the electricity you use every day and so on.

The majority of what is there are MOBILE homes that the company men and others live in. There are a small amount of guys who do use their personal 5th wheels to live in. They DO have a company that comes out and empties these tanks. Most generally these guys are working so much that a shower is few and far between and if they get to eat they are lucky to run down and grab a sandwich. Also in order for these guys to dump that on site from those 5th wheels it would also be all around the camper and underneath. You tell me why they would consider dumping where they are "living" as well. Makes no sense.
