The Wichita State University Alumni Association will have a new leader in January.
Courtney Marshall has been hired as the organization's president and CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Marshall replaces Debbie Kennedy, who left the Alumni Association this summer to become CEO of the Wichita Children's Home.
Marshall comes to WSU from Kansas State University, where she was a development officer in its College of Veterinary Medicine.
Marshall, a K-State graduate, was responsible in that role for cultivating and soliciting donors at gift levels of $25,000 and above.
She also has worked at Texas Tech University and Benedictine College in Atchison.
Marshall was the executive director of the University of South Dakota Alumni Association from 2004 to 2007.
Josh Heck covers health care, professional services, education and energy.
