As the ports of Seattle and Tacoma slow down because of labor negotiation hurdles between the International Longshoreman and Warehouse Union and its managing authority, the Pacific Maritime Association, exports and imports are sitting at docks all along the West Coast.
That means some of the region's exports, like Christmas Trees and apples, aren't leaving the ports as quickly and may not make it to their destinations while they're still fresh.
Some shippers are saying the damage has already been done, and that the slowdown will impact their businesses for years to come.
That led us to ask: What's in those containers sitting at the docks?
Click on the slideshow on the right to see the top 25 exports from Washington state and their estimated value, according to the 2013 census.
