Oil and Gas Regulatory Workshops

Field Operations, Inspections and Statewide Rule 13 (10 a.m.) -

This workshop is an overview of the field inspection procedures and process, including a review of field rules and their application, from the perspective of the District. This will also include an overview of the current and recently revised Statewide Rule 13 regarding casing, cementing, drilling, well control and completion requirements. 

Statewide Rule 32: Venting and Flaring (11 a.m.) -

This workshop is an overview of the requirements of Statewide Rule 32 regarding the venting and flaring of casinghead and gas well gas. Flaring of gas has become an important issue due to the current high level of drilling in the oil and gas industry.

Reporting Workshop (1:30 p.m.) -

This workshop will be a discussion on the filing procedures and requirements required for reporting for the following forms:

-Monthly Transportation & Storage Report (Form T-1)

- Skim Oil/Condensate Report (Form P-18)

- Surface Commingle Report (Form P-17)

A detailed question and answer session will follow the presentations.
