Columbia Sportswear Co. CEO Tim Boyle was "thrilled" with the outdoor apparel company's sales on Black Friday.
"We don't report results as it relates to any particular season," he said Thursday in an interview on Fox Business Network, but "I could tell you we were thrilled."
The company is coming off a record quarter and is in the midst of opening numerous stores.
Boyle said a store that opened this month in New York City has performed well.
"So far we are very pleased with the results we have had in New York."
Matthew Kish covers footwear, apparel, banking, finance and general assignment news.
