This week's Portland Business Journal cover story examines five creative ways Portland employers are finding talent.
Among those profiled is the VA Portland Health Care System, which has been ramping up its workforce like mad this year.
While it worked to address the famously high wait times for veterans to get in to see a doctor, it was simultaneously expanding some services.
The VA was able to deploy some pretty aggressive incentives to attract top-notch doctors. I'll be profiling two new hires at the system on Monday.
Meanwhile, you can read the entire cover story, which has been moved out from behind our paywall. Scroll down toward the bottom for the VA piece.
