A protest over wages at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport briefly blocked traffic driving into Terminal 1 on Friday afternoon.
At least 200 protesters rallied for $15 an hour wages, according to the organizer, SEIU Local 26. They gathered on sidewalks near Terminal 1's parking ramp at around noon and briefly blocked Terminal 1 traffic around 1:30, airport officials said.
U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., spoke to the crowd, as did Kip Hedges, a Delta baggage handler who was fired after he spoke up about wages.

The rally came a day after protesters blocked traffic on Interstate 35W in South Minneapolis before marching to City Hall.
In September, airport pay protesters interrupted a speech by Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson before they were escorted from the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis.
