Kettering Health Network has purchased a shuttered Miamisburg hotel.

The purchase price for the former Wyndham Garden Dayton South at 31 Prestige Plaza was $4.15 million and took place on Nov. 14, according to Montgomery County records.

Jarrod McNaughton, vice president of missions and development at Kettering Health Network, confirmed the purchase of the hotel, which is next door to the company's Miamisburg office building that houses about 300 employees.

The seller was Blue Cougar Dayton LLC out of New York.

McNaughton said the network has no immediate plans for the property.

"We continually assess the market for properties that extend our mission of meeting community needs and transforming healthcare in this region," he said.

The unused property has visibility from Interstate 75 and could provide a great redevelopment opportunity.
