BB&T Corp. is making it easier to process commercial and corporate financial transactions on the go with a new mobile app.

With corporate and commercial clients in mind, the Winston-Salem-based bank (NYSE:BBT) has rolled out easy access to secure transaction information and real-time notifications through an app called CashManager OnLine, available for Apple and Android platforms.

"Our new app is tailor-made for smartphones and allows clients to easily handle high-value Treasury Management activities even when they're out of the office," says Bennett Bradley, president, BB&T Payment Solutions. "Financial professionals are quickly getting accustomed to conducting business with their mobile devices. We're excited about the increased freedom and flexibility this app gives our CashManager OnLine clients."

Commercial and corporate clients can use the app to approve pending wire transfers, transfer funds between accounts, see detailed transaction summaries, handle administrative functions and receive notifications when approval is needed.
