The Buffalo Bills and some collaborative partners will be contributing a total of $137,000 to the American Red Cross of Western and Central New York Disaster Relief.

Bills owners Kim and Terry Pegula have pledged a lead gift in the form of a $50,000 donation. The NFL Foundation has pledged $50,000 and also raised $12,000 as part of their Text-to-Give program that ran during the Bills-Jets game on Nov. 24. The Detroit Lions also ran a 50/50 raffle at Ford Field during the Bills-Jets game, generating an additional $25,000 for the Western and Central New York Red Cross Disaster Relief.

"We are grateful to our community and our partners who join us in support of the disaster relief effort", said Kim Pegula, owner of the Buffalo Bills. "Through it all, this storm brought out the best in the people of our region and our fans rallied together to get back on their feet as soon as possible. We appreciate the support from the NFL and the Detroit Lions who went above and beyond in their support as we dealt with the impact of the storm."

The final damage tally from the record snowfall in November is expected to be in the tens of millions of dollars.
