Eight of Atlanta's top corporate board members were honored at Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2014 Outstanding Directors Awards on Dec. 4 at the Georgia Aquarium.
Honorees were selected by a panel of judges from the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Honorees included Dr. Patrick Battey of the board of Piedmont Healthcare, Rosalind Brewer of the board of Spelman College, Robert L. Brown Jr. of the board of Georgia Power Co., Jonathan Goldman of the board of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Sidney Nurkin of the board of Zep Inc., Ray Robinson of the board of Aaron's Inc., John Spiegel of the board of Community & Southern Bank, and Jane Thorpe of the board of The Task Force for Global Health.
